Young cooks are always asking for advice, saying they want to become great.

‘Chef, what do I need to do?’

There are a lot of answers to that question, but the most practical of all is this,



Cook as much as you can, wherever you can and under whom ever you can. Learn how the kitchen works, how flavors work together, and how ingredients are able to come together to form something that never existed before.

So cook, cook a lot, and develop a point of view – something you stand for.

Don’t be afraid of failure. Every time you try something that doesn’t work, you get closer to to figuring out something that does.
